Following our offerings of French and English voyage books from the same collection, this catalogue describes voyages by other Countries, including: Spanish voyages to the Straits of Magellen by Sarmiento de Gamboa in the sixteenth-century, and Cordoba in the eighteenth, both in fine royal armorial bindings; the first formal publication of the Malaspina voyage to America; Russian discoveries in the north and the Pacific, including Golovnin's account of his capture in Hokkaido, and a fine memoir of Krusenstern by his daughter.
