This copy is from the library of Christian benefactor William Leigh (1802-1873), who never visited South Australia but initiated church building projects in the colony from afar. As a member of the South Australian Church Society and the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel, Leigh helped to acquire land in the colony for parish allocation.
