These skilfully printed pochoir designs based are based on tropical corals, anemones, plankton and jellyfish, combined into enticing patterns for possible use in fabric and wallpaper designs. The designs are remarkable for their use of the stencil overlay process of pochoir printing to create remarkable atmosphere and depth of field, combining subdued background colouration with vivid aquamarines and turquoise highlighting to catch the eye and entrance the viewer. The portfolio was limited to 250 copies and is beautifully preserved in the original folding case with cloth ties and elegant lettering stencilled to the front board.
