The accomplished translation is by Jack Lindsay, with a dedication to his brother Phillip Lindsay. Jack Lindsay founded Fanfrolico with P. R. Stephenson and John Kirtley in 1926, with much support from Norman Lindsay. The press published many de luxe editions of Jack Lindsay's translations from the classics. Here the beautifully-executed wood-engravings are by Lionel Ellis.
