The result of more than 30 years of research, this new edition restores Finnegans Wake to all its glory: "astonishing and pleasing beyond measure" (Seamus Deane). Hordern House were delighted to host one of the editors, Danis Rose, who gave a presentation on both his years of research into Joyce, as well as an insight into the production of the book, destined to be a high-water mark of modern book design. The deluxe edition is designed by Martino Mardersteig and printed in Verona by Stamperia Valdonega. From an edition of 150 only a handful of copies remain with the publisher Houyhnhnm Press. The copies shipped to Hordern House were sold before we could even photograph them. $1200. The standard edition, closely based on the deluxe, and retaining all of the grand margins and heft, in a simple card slipcase. 800 copies printed. $400
